With as many leaders that we have and have had in the past, we still have a lack of knowledge in regard to some of the values that they stand for. There have been so many different admirable Women and Men who have given us the answers to a wide variety of the problems that we still have today but for some reason we lack the ability to maintain what some have given their lives for. Nobel Peace Prize winners have showed us what a true clear conscientious state of mind is but for some reason we have more people who don't listen or say that they don't care than people who do listen and say otherwise. Non-Violence is the act of Love.
Dr. Martin Luther King stated clearly that the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in time of comfort and convenience but in times of trials and tribulations. I believe that this statement is essentially authentic to his knowledge and to the life that he lived. I also believe that if we listen to those who are thought of as people who live with the values that most of us believe to be true, we won't be adding oil to flames of violence that comes from the essential values of hatried. So, in conclusion I will say that Non-Violence is the water that will stop the flame, because flames over flames only create intense tragedy. |
